About the Author

Jamond Jimmerson was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. He received the call to

ministry at the tender age of 19 and was determined to follow Christ for the rest of his life.

He attended Oakwood University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Church

Leadership in 2012.

 

In August of 2013, Jamond enrolled at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological

Seminary: Andrews University. He went on to complete the Master of Divinity program in

December 2015 and then accepted the call to work in the Central States Conference of Seventh-

day Adventist. It was there he Pastored two congregations in Colorado (New Community &

Boston Street SDA Church). After serving faithfully there, He joined the Allegheny East Conference where he had the privilege of pastoring The North Philadelphia SDA Church. Jamond now serves as the proud pastor of the Madison Mission SDA Church in the South Central Conference.

 

Jamond has been married to the love of his life “Twainika Jimmerson” for 14 blissful

years. Together, they have two sons. He enjoys traveling, teaching and sports. He is passionate about people and desires to see them grow in the amazing grace of God. His favorite scripture which brings him joy and keeps Him grounded is found in 2 Corinthians 5:21 – “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
